The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is aware of a reported occurrence that took place at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Morris, Indiana. Two consecrated hosts were found on the floor and put into the tabernacle to dissolve in a dish of water. The next day while preparing for Saturday evening Mass, the parish sacristan “found spots of blood” in the dish, describing what she saw in the dish as “a very, very thin piece of skin with blood on it.” With assistance from a professional laboratory, a careful investigation is in progress.
