TheArchdioceseofSeoulinSouthKoreahasreached“theeraof1,000priests”uponordaining26newpriestsforthelocalChurchonFeb.7.ArchbishopPeterChungSoon-taick,whopresidedovertheceremony,calledonthenewprieststocarryouttheirministry“withtrueloveandconstantjoy.”
“PriestsarecalledtoservethepeopleofGodascollaboratorsofthebishopandunitedwiththebishopthroughtheirpriestlyministry,”thearchbishoprecalledinhishomily.Headded:“RememberthatyouhavebeenchosenandappointedfromamongmentocarryouttheworkofGod.”
