The Vatican onWednesday announcedthatPopeFrancishadappointedthreenewbishopstodiocesesintheUnitedStates.  TheArchdioceseofCincinnatiandtheDiocesesofSiouxCityandNorwichallreceivednewappointments,theHolySee saidinapressstatement. AllthreeoftheretiringorretiredprelatestenderedtheirresignationstotheVaticanupontheir75thbirthdays inaccordancewith Churchlaw.
